    In the Technology and Money news segment on NBC News Scott Budman reports that every time when some one buys a house, a car or anything for that matter one’s personal financial information is compromised. He goes on to say that Identity theft has become a common problem.

     He interviews Ken Burns, the CEO of Technology Credit Union (TCU) in this news segment. Ken says that TCU has installed thumb print readers which use bio-metric technology to validate the identity of its customers. These bio-metric devices are used by thousands TCU customers.
